Korgon

Concept and creative direction for a fictional, morally questionable mega-corp.

Korgon is the corporate villain behind Machine for Dying. The name mashes together Kraken and Gorgon (mythical monsters) to suggest something vast, ancient and hungry for control.

At the centre of Korgon's empire is Floob, an absurdly popular product that nobody can actually explain. Through details like this, I shaped the company to feel like it had always existed: unaccountable, massive and driven purely by appetite.

I created a propaganda-style brand film called 100 Years of Korgon using reworked archival footage. All conformity, compliance and consumption. The website and social presence extended the fiction through glitches, contradictions and hollow corporate speak. It wasn't built to drive traffic but to reward anyone willing to dig into the world.
